Jatin Travels Gwalior Mitawali and Padawali are archaeological sites in Madhya Pradesh, India, near Gwalior, known for their ancient temples, particularly the Chausath Yogini Temple at Mitawali and the cluster of Bateshwar temples near Padawali. The Mitawali temple was built by the Kachchhapaghata king Devapala around 1055–1075 CE and served as a center for learning in astrology and mathematics.
